Observatorio Astronómico Turístico VERALYANAR VERONICA - ALYSON - ANTONIA - ARTURO
A comienzos del nuevo siglo, comienza a gestarse la idea de crear un producto diferente que a través del tiempo fue adquiriendo mayor importancia y mediante diferentes metodologías de enseñanza se llegó a la que actualmente se utiliza para la enseñanza del cielo de una forma simple y divertida evitando palabras técnicas.
Nuestro exclusivo guía, fundador y propietario de ADStargazing fue gestando el proyecto que se encuentra en pleno funcionamiento, gracias al gran esfuerzo realizado en más de 20 años trabajando en forma paralela con su trabajo de guía general durante el día y guía astronómico durante la noche, lo anterior se traduce en alcanzar el gran sueño de su vida. Su propio observatorio astronómico.
Jorge estudió en la Escuela Superior de Administración de Negocios ESANE del Norte de la ciudad de Calama, titulándose de Técnico nivel superior en Turismo y Hotelería, su interés por la astronomía viene de la niñez cuando él junto a su abuela y hermanos pasaban las vacaciones en el poblado de Toconao, en aquellos tiempos no existía la luz eléctrica, solo se utilizaban velas y fogones, ello permitía una observación del cielo maravillosa, con el tiempo después de comenzar con su trabajo de guía general, Jorge comienza a auto estudiar astronomía con diversos textos de renombrados autores, entre astrónomos, astrofísicos, profesores de física y astronomía, incluyendo autores andinos, enriqueciéndose sobre la cosmovisión de los antepasados de la región circumpuneña, uniendo así todos los conocimientos tanto históricos como científicos para una buena enseñanza del cielo.
Gracias al desinteresado y constante apoyo de su asistente Johanna, Atacama Desert Stargazing ha alcanzado logros que muchos pueden avalar y pocos alcanzar, la perseverancia, el esfuerzo mancomunado, la unión y dedicación brindaron sus frutos que se dan a conocer y comparten con todos los visitantes que se unen a nuestro tour astronómico.
